  My 6 year old lost his first tooth yesterday. A metal capped molar that the dentist had to remove. So the kids were all excited for the tooth fairy to come this morning.

  In the middle of a peaceful midnight bath, into the bathroom charges my 8 month old kittycat Vinny who makes a flying leap right into the bathtub with me. I scream bloody murder as I'm sure I'm about to be disemboweled. As Vinny scrambles his soggy self out, I realize I am unscathed (or rather unscratched) and I start roaring with laughter. He is frantically is bouncing off the walls trying to shake himself dry.

  At the doorway appears my groggy 3 year old who takes my towel and starts chasing Vinny around the house trying to dry him. By the time I get out of the tub, the whole main floor of the house is sprinkled with water and Michael is so wet that I have to change his pajamas. When I finally get 3 year old settled back into bed he says, "Why did Tom's toothfairy throw Vinny in the bathtub?"

  Who knew the Tooth Fairy was such a mischievous thing?!
